The straight axe/maul replacement handle fits 6 to 8 pound sledges. The 36-inch hickory handle is a dense wood that provides strength and durability. The hickory straight axe/maul replacement has excellent grip for handling comfort for the frequent use in the field. Use the included wedge pack to install and secure the head on the handle.
